Ashwini Kotrashetti received her Ph.D from Assam Don Bosco University & Masters in engineering from Mumbai University. She has been an educator for 23 years with research interests in metastructure antennas and microwave system design. She has experience of working on several real-time industry-sponsored projects and has refereed international publications to her credit.

She is an IEEE Senior Member. She is grantee of the prestigious IEEE Humanitarian Activities Committee (HAC) project grant for the year 2017 for the project “Comprehensive Development of Tribal Community of Walvanda” and the  IEEE MTT-S/ SIGHT Joint Funding 2019 for the project “LoRaWAN Enabled Remote Solar Photo Voltaic Energy Monitoring Systems”. She has also received two minor research grants from University of Mumbai.

She also is the faculty advisor for IEEE-DBIT MTT-S Chapter and Chair of SIGHT in IEEE-DBIT SB.
